How do I host a virtual session?

Learn how to set up and join a virtual session.

There are several types of virtual sessions available to gymGO users.  This article will explain each type of session, how to create them, and how you and your clients can join a virtual session.

Types of Virtual Sessions

Small Group Private
A small group private session allows you to connect with up to 1-12 clients (depending on which subscription you've purchased) via live 2-way streaming video.  You will be able to see and hear all of your clients in real time, and they can see and hear you.  Clients will not be able to see and hear each other.

Small Group Public
A small group public session allows you to connect with up to 12 clients (depending on which subscription you've purchased)  via live 2-way streaming video.  You and all of your clients will be able to see and hear each other.

A broadcast session allows you to connect with up to 200 clients via live 1-way steaming video.  Your clients can see and hear you, but you cannot see or hear them.  Clients have the ability to send you a live chat message during the broadcast session and you can respond verbally or in text.

Creating a virtual session on your calendar

Before adding any sessions to your calendar, you must ensure that you have created a corresponding service item as well as added an instructor to your account.  To add a session to your calendar, go to "Calendar", and click anywhere on the calendar to add a new event.  This will bring up a guided workflow that will walk you through the steps to create a session.
